English below Wij, Bram, Robert, Giel, Lucas en Margo wonen in een klein paradijsje in Epe: De Tovertuin. ENGLISH We, Bram, Robert, Giel, Lucas and Margo live in a little paradise in Epe: the Tovertuin (magic garden). Here we grow organic vegetables, flowers and herbs for our members and ourselves. We would love to share our beautiful garden with you! From the end of March untill October you can come here to work and live with us and other Wwoofers. Living together is important to us and we practice community living. We will have regular meals together with vegetables and herbs from the garden. Right now we have one regular volunteer with his little camper in the garden and we still have room for two or three others. You may come and camp with your own tent, but we also have a caravan available for one person or a couple. We also have a kitchen, sanitary facilities, fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden, eggs from our chickens and a small lake to swim in. If you want to join us we expect you to work at least one week in the garden. We expert you to help out 4,5 days a week. That work consists of weeding, planting, seeding building or painting and occasionally harvesting. Together we create the right balance between working efficiently and being together that makes the garden even more beautiful. It is a self-harvest garden, so occasionally members will come and harvest. The garden is located 15 minutes from a beautiful forest. For us, nature plays a big role. For example, we provide a diversity of flowers for insects and pay attention to the critters that live with us in the garden. In addition, we find it important that the garden looks beautiful, beauty therefore also plays a role in the choices that we make in the garden.

De Tovertuin is a beautiful farm with an impressive diversity of vegetables! The atmosphere there is great — there are often other volunteers around, which makes the experience very friendly and lively. The living space for WWOOFers is lovely, and we get to enjoy fresh food from the garden while sharing good moments together. I spent two wonderful weeks at De Tovertuin and I enjoyed it a lot !

I really enjoyed my time at the Tovertuin. I only stayed there for a little over a week, but I would recommend staying longer to really experience the beauty and satisfaction of the garden. It’s like it grows closer to your heart the more things you discover and the more you contribute. Another Wwoofer, Giovanni was also staying there and we and Bram had a great time together. Bram is a nice, funny and respectful being who has lots of visions to learn from. The work was not too hard and good variation. We mostly weeded, planted new vegetables and did some maintenance. We shared our meals, alternated cooking and had a clear but not too strict working schedule, which really served me. I had lots of fun working and sharing quality time! Thank you for having me and good luck this season! I’ll definitely come for a visit :)

My time at Tovertuin was great. Bram has built a unique project, combining sustainable farming practices with community engagement. The property is beautiful, vegetable gardens, flower orchard, and ponds with newly built fountains make this place a small paradise in the Dutch countryside. The people also made the experience excellent. Robert, Chiara and Alex were an amazing crew to spend these days with.

I traveled with my dog and my own van to the Tovertuin. We both felt very welcome and stayed for a month. We worked for four days from 8:30 to 5 with plenty of breaks. In addition to many things about organic vegetable cultivation, ecological processes, bees and the membership system with your own harvest, I was also able to experience community life and other philosophy of life. Daily cooking with previously harvested vegetables, great herbs from the herb garden and usually sociable dinners together. I was also able to withdraw at any time and enjoy time for myself. Sometimes we made a campfire, played music, hung out somewhere in the garden. On the days off, I did a lot with the other woofer and we were able to explore the area in my van or by bike. Conclusion: For me a place to be. Thanks for the nice time. :)

I planned to stay 1 week at the end of May and I ended up staying 1 month so as you can imagine I had a great experience at the Tovertuin. Thank you to Bram, Lieuwe, Robert, Dhara for welcoming me into their project! I worked 4 days (with many breaks) and my tasks mainly revolved around: planting, weeding, seeding, and occasionally some harvesting! One day after I came, another WWOOFer arrived and we spent the month working together! This was a fantastic experience for me, to be able to live more in a community and get to know people who come from different bubbles than mine! I also learned about bees, as they have hives on the land, and about medicinal plants, as Dhara is more focused on that, and overall a lot about regenerative agriculture and the ecosystem. Every day tea with plants from the garden, good talks with everybody, lots of reading, sitting around the fire, making jam with the other WWOOFer! There is no wifi, so make sure to have enough data or download some things in advance :) I will for sure come back, also to give Dhara her book back!

I had a great week at the Tovertuin! Bram, Lieuwe, and Dhara are super nice and welcoming, and their place is a beautiful green oasis. During my stay there were two other wwoofers and a long-term volunteer. We had fixed working times, and I got to do a variety of tasks like weeding, seeding, planting, pruning, and harvesting different veggies. They were always open to answer my questions and I learned a lot about organic farming as well as their positive way of community living. I enjoyed the social atmosphere and having always someone to chat with and eat together. There was also room to relax alone or explore the nature around. In addition to the practical farming work, I found it inspiring to experience the community aspects of the Tovertuin with their local volunteer days. It was overall a fantastic experience and I want to come back soon!
