Charlee and I had the best time at The Redlock Farm! Karen and Kley always made us feel very welcome and made sure that we have everything we needed. The accommodation was beautiful which is why we even felt more at home. Another remarkable thing was the food that Kley, Karen and their daughter cooked for us. It was so delicious and we also got to try typical dutch meals which was amazing. The work varied from day to day and was always much fun, because we got to learn how to use some tools like a wood-splitter. Besides that, taking care of the animals always was a pleasure, because they are all so kind and sweet. Leaving the farm was really sad, but we are so grateful to have spend one month there!

— Hassan & Narcis 🌿

Kaag is a truly beautiful place — the farm is located in a charming village surrounded by stunning nature. I loved being close to the animals and taking part in the daily tasks on the farm. It was my very first WWOOFing experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction! Johan is a great host, and I really enjoyed discovering WWOOFing with him.

De Tovertuin is a beautiful farm with an impressive diversity of vegetables! The atmosphere there is great — there are often other volunteers around, which makes the experience very friendly and lively. The living space for WWOOFers is lovely, and we get to enjoy fresh food from the garden while sharing good moments together. I spent two wonderful weeks at De Tovertuin and I enjoyed it a lot !

Places Nearby that you might like: A farm with tasty homemade ice cream from their cows, delicious apple pie + a very friendly dog A Folklore museum Thrift Shops with clothes, jewellery, home stuff A Beautiful cafe in the woods Useful info: Supermarket is 5 minutes by bike, it's big and it has everything Eggs from the neighbor's farm in really good prices Bonfires every once in a while The proportion of work hours is decent and very well balanced It's fascinating how one person created a place where that many different people can come as they are, hang out when they want but also have their alone time. I really appreciated that you get your own place. There is a lot of space in the farm other than the common place, so you can find spots where you can sit and chill with your book, laptop, other wwoofers etc.

I spent two weeks at Erjon and Rebecca’s place and would highly recommend this woofing experience. They are both very welcoming and kind, I always felt such good energy while staying with them! During my time there, I learned how to clone fruit trees, create healthy soil for plants, understand how the aquaponic system works, and make delicious juices from fresh fruit. They shared interesting facts about their many different trees, the local animals, and more. One of my favorite experiences was visiting the hives with the beekeeper, which was a truly unique and memorable moment. I stayed in one of their beautiful glamping tents, surrounded by the sounds of nature and waking up with the sunrise. I shared meals with Erjon and Rebecca, always made with fresh vegetables, fish, or meat. I also had time to explore most of the Dutch side of the island, with each day bringing a new adventure thanks to the bike they lent me! Thank you again, it was a real pleasure to work with you and help bring your wonderful projects to life!
