This was our first wwoofing and farming experience and we learned a lot ! Edwin and Sebastian were very patient and very interesting people in general. I am a vegetarian and Edwin makes sure to get me vegetal protein every week which was very kind. Sebastian was an amazing gardening teacher and was very fun to work with ! The working schedule is very organized, we worked six hours a day for five days. Everyday was planned and we were always guided on what to do (which was very reassuring for beginners like us). The big highlight for us was Puss the cat, the king of the farm and a very cuddly and loving cat. We also get to participate to Edwin’s workshop on foraging and mushrooms and we learned a lot again. Just keep in mind that you will work a bit more than in others farms and cook all your food but if you’re not afraid to work and to cook and want to learn about foraging and gardening it will be a great match ! Thanks again Edwin, Sebastian and Puss of course for having us, we had a wonderful month !

We had a wonderful time at this farm and felt very welcome from the beginning. The hosts are great people, the work was varied and hands-on, and we learned a lot. We also really appreciated having our own small apartment, which made our stay extra comfortable. We already miss the animals — especially the cuddly pigs! Thank you for this lovely experience.

I very much enjoyed my time volunteering at Steef & Eef’s market garden. During my time we did a fair bit of weeding, preparing beds for planting and planting. Very fair work hours with good morning tea & lunch breaks & nice amount of time to chill at the end of the day. Lovely meals & lovely dogs! The apartment to stay in is a really nice space. Enjoyed being able to borrow the bike to ride into town and buses are very accessible to explore towns close by on weekends.

I had the most amazing time for 3 weeks at the Hoeve and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in experiencing a community lifestyle. The living and working situation is all very comfortable. This place is full of love and laughter and it truly felt like a dream to be there. I spent my free time with the other volunteers going for bike rides or doing craft projects or talking. Thank you to everyone at the Hoeve - I miss you and hope to see you all again soon.

I spent two week in the farm and had an amazing time here. Karen and Kley are very welcoming and sweet, they always make sure I have everything I need. They make me feel that my work is valued and truly appreciated. For the farm work, you will get to work on different things everyday and never a dull moment on the farm. I get to learn a lot about different machines and what we do is very rewarding. Taking care of the animals is one of my favourite things to do, I can tell they are happy here as well. And I will definitely miss that two dogs, they are amazing! I was expecting to lose weight with all the hard work, but they feed me with very delicious food everyday and I enjoyed every meal and the conversation we had on the table. This experience is 100% recommended! I hope to visit again. Thank you for everything .

I had a very special WWOOF experience with Ylvie. Even though I stayed during winter, the farm felt warm, peaceful, and full of positive energy. Ylvie was kind and welcoming, and the people I worked with there were also very kind and lovely. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and spending time with the wonderful animals — horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. I also loved feeling connected to the rhythm of the farm and imagining how beautiful it must be in other seasons, with flowers, trees, and harvests. Thank you so much, Ylvie, for such a beautiful time. I am very grateful and would warmly recommend this place to other WWOOFers.

From the beginning, Sid and Nella created a warm, accommodating atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. They provided clear instructions on how to reach the property and arranged a pickup point, which really helped calm any initial nerves. Sid was incredibly thoughtful in managing the workload. He made sure I never felt overworked by mixing the level of tasks, making the work productive and enjoyable. Sid worked alongside in the garden every day and his passion was contagious! Nella is an incredible cook who prepared a fresh, balanced meal every day. Sharing meals and conversations was just as enriching as the work itself. I loved hearing their stories and learning about their culture! The accommodation is very well maintained, with modern facilities that made the stay comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering their WWOOF stay.

For our stay in the Netherlands, we were welcomed by Olga, a wonderful host full of life and kindness. We were delighted to discover "The Hoogewaard" campsite with its vintage caravans and large yurts. During our stay, we learned many things, such as building a yurt, setting up stretch tents, taking care of the animals, tending a small forest, and much more. We are incredibly grateful to Olga and her son Yeppe for their hospitality. We left with our heads full of memories and we wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place. Thank you, Olga, for your generosity and trust; we will miss you ❤️

I enjoyed my time at the Red Lock farm. Karen and Clay are very kind and welcoming. They have beautiful plans for the farm and a lot of knowledge about organic farming. The work on the farm was very varied; I got to work with various power tools, learned about tree care, watering systems, co-planting, and more...No two days were the same. It was nice and rewarding to see the results of our work every day! Karen and Clay, thank you for the time I got to help and learn at the farm, the interesting conversations, and of course, not to forget, the delicious meals! I would definitely recommend visiting!🌱🍀
