When I was traveling through Australia and Africa I did WWOOFing myself and I loved it. So now I have my own little paradise I like to share it with other people.
I live in the countryside just outside the city, where I grow my own vegetables, fruit, and nuts according to the principles of permaculture. Because annual vegetables are very time-consuming, I have focused more on perennial vegetables, fruit, and nuts, although I would like to grow more vegetables again later. Since living in the countryside, I have tried to be as self-sufficient as possible. I offer guests accommodation for a maximum of one week, because I believe you should see more of the world than just my place. We can always discuss whether you would like to stay longer. I am a creative person, and there is plenty of room to use your own creativity if you have ideas. The work consists of garden maintenance, mowing, pruning, mulching, working in the food forest and greenhouse, picking fruits.
After work you can relax in the garden or take a bike and explore the surroundings and enjoy the quietness and beauty of nature. There is a large lake close to my house were you can swim. I am 12 kilometer away from Groningen a lively university city with a lot of historic warehouses, courts and buildings and innovative architecture. In addition, it was once proclaimed the city with the best city centre in the Netherlands because of its charm.
If you confirm your stay in advance and let me know what time you arrive I'll make sure I'm at home. If plans changes pleace let me know as well, because I don't run a company and I have to plan my time as well.
No drugs when you are staying here.
